Summary

English: The bus stop in York Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, outside the Medical Centre, in the direction of East Cowes town centre. As can be seen, it stood at a very odd angle at the time. It is seen with its new Southern Vectis bus stop flag for route 4, after the route was withdrawn from the Hefford Road area from 5 April 2009, to run directly down York Avenue. Southern Vectis 37 used to serve this stop, but it was withdrawn from 31 March 2007, leaving Wightbus service T2 to Tesco the only route serving the stop at the time. Route 4 now serves here, however, the T2 was withdrawn from 18 September 2009. |
