Description In these composite image you can see the Blue Cut Fire at the Cajon Pass West of I-15, northeastern San Gabriel Mountains, and Mojave Desert in San Bernardino County, California, USA, imaged by the Thermal InfraRed Sensor (TIRS) aboard Landsat 8. The thermal images were taken August 17th at 10.36pm PDT and used as overlay for an August 18th daytime panchromatic image with higher resolution to get more visual detail.
