Description
English: IA coin; Cast copper alloy uninscribed British potin of the ‘class I’ type (as per Hobbs “British Iron Age Coins in the British Museum”). Dated to the late 2nd century BC to mid 1st century BC (per Hobbs).

Obv. Stylised head facing right, profile n (plate I, page 222 in Hobbs) plain border No inscription Rev. Stylised bull butting left with two crescents above, a pellet below and a plain border No inscription

Diameter 17.4mm, thickness 1.2mm, weight 1.19g
