Early medieval tweezers
Description
English: A complete but distorted pair of copper alloy tweezers dating to the early medieval period. The head is formed into a loop. The arms are flat and triangular in shape and curve in at the terminals to form jaws. The tweezers measure 29mm in length and 8mm in width. Similar pairs of tweezers (particularly 38.9 and 38.11) are illustrated in Macgregor and Bolick (1993) p. 224.
