Title
Early medieval hooked tag
Description
English: A copper-alloy early-medieval hooked tag with circular plate and a pair of circular perforated lobes for attachment. At the base of the plate is an integral recurved hook of ?faceted sub-circular cross-section. The back of the plate bears numerous transverse scratch marks.

This description has been made from the image taken at the time of recording (R Webley 22 February 2014); as no image of the front survives the decorative content of the plate is unclear. The classification can therefore only be noted so far: A1.?.? (lobed)
