English: Early Saxon Fragment of part of loop and upper part of arm of pair of tweezers: loop decorated with three longitudinal grooves, below this decoration consists of three transverse grooves, single edge nicks (one edge missing), three more grooves, larger edge nicks, four grooves, side facets, three (or more) grooves at the break. Other elaborately decorated Early Saxon tweezers include examples from Morning Thorpe, graves 87 and 157 (EAA 36). |
