English: An incomplete struck / hammered copper alloy jetton of the 'French shield' type, of Early Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1500 to AD 1525). Shield of France obverse type depicting a shield charged with three fleur de lys/lis. Imperial orb reverse type depiciting an orb surmounted by a cross within an ornamental tressure. Mitchiner nos 1070-1092, pages 355-358.
