Description |
English: An incomplete struck / hammered copper alloy jetton, of uncertain issuer, but probably struck in Nuremberg, Germany as part of the rose / orb series during the Late 16th to Early 17th Centuries AD. Obverse type and legend hard to determine, but probably consists of alternating roses and crowns. Reverse legend is illegible but depicts a probable imperial orb. Jetton has been pierced at 9 o'clock on the reverse, internal diameter is 2.13 mm.
