Title
Early Neolithic flint leaf shaped arrowhead
Description
English: An early Neolithic flint leaf shaped arrowhead. The arrowhead is of ogival type, with a rounded butt which tapers to a point. The arrowhead is convex, with a rounded dorsal face and a flat ventral face. Retouch has been applied to both faces of the arrowhead, although only partially, and the retouch does not cover the whole of the surface of the arrowhead as seen on the most elaborately worked examples. The arrowhead is now quite worn and the edges are not as sharp as they would once have been. The flint has a pale grey to cream patina. The piece measures 38.03 mm in length, 15.5 mm wide, 5.8 mm thick and weighs 3.2 grams.
