Description
English: A copper-alloy hooked tag, dating from the 8th to early 12th centuries.

The damaged plate is inverted sub-triangular in plan, having slightly convex sides. It bears a stamped pattern comprising five complete circular punch marks and one further, partially surviving mark, each circular in plan and with a central perforation. The integral backward-pointing hook extends downwards from the bottom point, the transition marked by a wider collar. The surfaces of the object are corroded.
