English: Early Medieval silver sceat, Series N (Type 41b, standing figures / monster in flight left ), c.AD 715-720, North (1993:64) no. 99.About 7% of the flan is missing due to a break down one side.
The coin appears base silver with some copper corrosion but it is clear in the break that it is not silver plated on copper but the same composition all the way through. |
