English: A complete struck / hammered silver penny of Edward the Confessor (AD 1042 to AD 1066), dating to the period AD 1044 to AD 1046. Minted in London by moneyer Elman. Radiate / Small cross type. North 816. Hild. A. Copenhagen 1027. Different dies used compared to the Copenhagen example.
