Description |
English: Late Saxon copper alloy buckle frame, D-shaped with the sides extending past the bar. Sixteen punched ring-and-dot impressions decorate with sides and outside edge. An iron stain, from the missing pin, encircles the centre of the bar. Length 20mm, width 38mm. Dates to the 10th - 11th century. |
