Title
Early Bronze Age Plano-convex Knife Lithic Impliment
Description
English: Flint knife. Early Bronze Age plano-convex type. A large flint flake with a triangular section and regular pressure flaking around the entirety of the edge on the dorsal surface. The pressure flaking radiates from a thick, slightly off-centre spine. The ventral surface is otherwise unworked and retains the bulb of percussion. The striking platform has been removed by the pressure flaking. Patchy matt grey-brown and dark brown flint with a mid-gloss patina. A patch of white nodule cortex remains on the dorsal surface. Small amount of plough damage on ventral surface.
