Title
Early-medieval finger-ring
Description
English: Copper alloy hoop of circular section; tapers markedly towards the terminals which are sub-rounded at their edges. Objects such as these are known from Viking-age contexts, for example in Thetford; they are considered not to be ear-rings because there is no firm evidence for an Anglo-Scandinavian fashion of wearing ear-rings of any sort.
