English: An Early-Medieval sceatta, secondary series J, imitative of BIIIB. It measures 12mm in diameter, weighs 0.99g, die axis 3, virtually unworn, and is apparently plated on a base metal core.


Obverse: Pearl diademed head with angular nose right, within beaded border
Reverse: Bird on cross, annulets on limbs, trefoils below, no pellets above the horizontal arm of the cross, double beaded border
