Early-Medieval coin: Sceat
Description
English: An incomplete silver Sceatta, Series E, type E800 dating to the period AD 695-720.  The obverse has a quilled crescent coiled right with triangular head and pellets bellow. The reverse depcits a beaded standard with central annulet and angular symbols spelling VIC. As Abramson (2006: 121) E800.
