Description
English: Copper alloy

Cosmetic implement; possibly an ear scoop. Cast rectangular section rod tapering towards a tiny scoop at one end, and towards a now rounded end at the other. Traces of linear decoration, or perhaps grooves facilitating suspension, appear towards the rounded end. Smoothed or polished, perhaps by wear. Suggested date: Roman, 40-400.

Length: 49.6mm, Width: 5.5mm, Thickness: 4.0mm, Weight: 4.28gms.
