Description
English: Tvarbanan's insulator.
  • As electric motor consist of coils, it is very danger to all electric network switching off the powerful electric motor cause of self-induction. After self-induction discharging, nothing will resist to current gaining in motor's coils and tram will overload electric network after passing the insulator at moment when driver pushes the acceleration pedal.
    • To avoid such extremely-danger mode for electric network and voltage throws, insulator have metal sleds on each sides, which are keeping tram's motor always switched on.
