English: Fragment of Roman silver bracelet or finger ring British Museum Report: Fragment of Roman silver snake jewellery, either a bracelet or finger ring; only the simple undecorated snake's head terminal and part of the body survives, which is kinked and bent below the head, with the rest of the object broken away. Wt.: 1.5g L.: 26.4mm W.: 6.6mm Date: 1st to 2nd century AD Note: this item is made substantially of silver and is more than 300 years old, and thus qualifies as treasure as stipulated in the Treasure Act 1996.
