ESS-81C113 Roman nail cleaner
Description
English: Damaged and incomplete Roman cast copper alloy nail cleaner.Only the suspension terminal and upper part of the body survives. The suspension loop is perpendicular to the body. The surviving section of the body is pentagonal, with the fifth edge being a break across the body. There is no visible decoration. The fragement is 24.15mm long, 8.19mm wide, 0.98mm thick across the body and the loop is 4.37mm wide, 1.14mm thick. It weighs 0.7 grams. it is mid-green in colour and there is a small amount of pitting on the surface of the metal.
