Description
Español: La Escuela Metropolitana de Arte inaugurada el 23 de Septiembre de 2005, funciona en una casa diseñada en 1948 por el famoso Arq. Mujica Millán, diseñador de las más importantes obras arquitectónicas de Mérida, como la Catedral, el Palacio de Gobierno y el Rectorado de la Universidad de los Andes, entre otros. Intervenida en 1993 por la Arquitecta Carolina Celis, este edificio cambió su función de vivienda para convertirse en una Escuela promotora de las artes y del diseño en la región andina que apuesta por un futuro próspero en el ámbito artístico y cultural no sólo de la región sino del país
