Die abenteuerliche Verlegung der Fallrohre ist als Provisorium zu werten, da die ursprünglichen Abflüsse im Kellergeschoß verrottet sind und laut Gutachten ein Sicherheitsrisiko für das Gebäude und die darin eingelagerten Archivbestände darstellen.
