Description
Deutsch: Das auffällige, 1909 erbaute Haus war im Besitz des Dr.med. August Lachwitz. Er war einer der Initiatoren der Kurbad-Eisenach Initiative und Inhaber der Kurbad-Drogerie. Die beiden an der Fassade angebrachten mythologischen Figuren verweisen auf den Berufsstand des Arztes und Heilers: bei genauerem Hinsehen erkennt man jeweils eine Schlange (Äsculap-Natter) die sich um den Stab des bärtigen Mannes (Asclepius) windet, eine andere wird von der Hand seiner Tochter - Hygiegeia - dargestellt als Jungfrau - gehalten.
