Deutsch: Die Herzogsbank ist ein beliebter Ausblick auf die Wartburg und befindet sich etwa einen Kilometer Luftlinie südlich der Burg am Wanderweg von der Sängerwiese in das Georgental (sogenannter "Roter Weg"). Die schon im 18. Jahrhundert gerühmte Aussicht wurde 1791 durch diese aus Sandstein gefertigte Ruhebank ergänzt. Der Ort wird auch als Nebeblick auf Wanderkarten und im Gelände markiert. |
