The Skoda Works in Czechoslovakia built the electric locomotives ChS200-001 and 002 in 1975 for express passenger service on the Moscow-Leningrad line, and these were the first    twin-section    passenger    electric locomotives  on  the  railways of the  USSR. In 1979 10 electric locomotives followed as ChS200 Nos. 003-012, which differed a lot from their prototype and are still in service. The locomotive is part of the collection of the Central Museum of Railway Transport.
