Description
Deutsch: Zug der Linie U17 nach Gelsenkirchen Fischerstraße, die Meterspur in Gleismitte gehört zu einer Bedarfswendeschleife. Die Rillenweiten sind auffallend unterschiedlich, bei den Meterspuranlagen werden Straßenbahnmaße genutzt, die Essener Regelspurstrecken wurden wegen der Modellfunktion für die Stadtbahn Rhein-Ruhr mit Fernbahnmaßen gebaut. Die nicht über Schienenoberkante ragenden Radlenker der Regelspur-Rillenschienenweichen verhindern den Betrieb mit Kompromissradreifen nach Karlsruher Vorbild, doch wären die nur ein Thema, wenn es zu Durchbindungen bis Dortmund oder Köln käme. Beides ist zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt (und auch zwanzig Jahre danach) ausgesprochen unwahrscheinlich.
