Description
English: An U.S. Navy Grumman E-2C Hawkeye (BuNo 160007) of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 122 "Steeljaws" is hoisted aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) at Naval Air Station North Island, California (USA), prior to a deployment. VAW-122 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the Kitty Hawk for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 25 October 1977 to 15 May 1978.
