VAW-124 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean from 8 September 2008 to 18 April 2009. |
