I 1838 søgte brødrene Møller om patent på en forbedret udgave af deres dykkerdragt. Denne illustration demonstrerede alle de mulige arbejdsstillinger for en dykker. I den fyldige beskrivelse, der fulgte med, står der bl.a., at "alle disse maskiner består af tætsluttende metal, i hvilket ærmer af vandtætte stoffer er fastgjorte". Brødrene åbnede dog også mulighed for at lave mere smidige dragter, nemlig nogle, der alene betod af vandtætte stoffer "udstivede med metalbøjler eller blot med hjelmen og en smal metalplade for brystet, som står i forbindelse med et metalbælte om livet". |
