English: A Vickers Wellington DWI (Directional Wireless Installation) on the ground at Ismailia, Egypt, showing the electromagnetic ring used to explode magnetic mines. (Original IWM caption: Wellington DWI Mark II, HX682 'R', of No. 1 General Reconnaissance Unit on the ground at Ismailiya, Egypt. This aircraft was converted from a Mark IC bomber and fitted with a 48-foot electromagnetic ring for exploding magnetic mines.)
