Description
English: A major pilgrimage site for Hindus, Dwarka temple is dedicated to Krishna located in Gujarat India.

The temple is on a small hill, has multiple levels, features art work with extensive reliefs on the life and legends about Krishna, many erotic. The temple has two entrances, and is at the seashore.

Next to it, and attached to the temple, is a major ancient complex dedicated to Adi Shankara philosophy. There is a ghat also attached to the temple where pilgrims take bath in the day, and light floating diya lamps in the night.
