Summary

[edit]

Koninginnedag at the Frederiksplein in Amsterdam. For 50 cents one can throw balls at the cubes with pictures of members of the Dutch royal family. After that, one can grab something from the 'grabbelton' at the front. The Dutch word 'omverwerpen' can mean 'knock over' or 'overthrow', so sign can be interpreted to say 'overthrow the royal house'.

Original filename: Dscn7552.jpg

Description
English: The sign says 'overthrow the royal house', referring to the pictures of the royal family on the pile of boxes one can throw balls at.
