English: Kashiswar Dutta Chaudhury(4th son of Ramsharan Dutta Chaudhury) constructed this Durga Dalan for his family descendant.From the year of 1609 AD, the Durga Puja of this Dutta Chaudhury family adheres to strict religious sanctity following the Brihannandikeshwar Purana according to Vaishnav rituals
This Durga Dalan built by Kashiswar Dutta Chaudhury, unfortunately collapsed around the year 1929 AD, but our family members took no time in getting a new Durga Dalan constructed and functioning within a year. |
