Summary

[edit]
Description

Twenthe open day, 15 September 1979.

This was one of the best (square) photos I managed to take with my Agfamatic pocket camera. A few hours later some activists threw a balloon with red paint at it, making it the first Dutch F-16 with special markings.

J-259 was the first Dutch F-16B, delivered in June 1979. It is now an instructional airframe at Woensdrecht.
