English: Dunston Coal Staithes and wading birds. Looking from Hadrian's Way on the north bank of the Tyne (Northumberland) across to Dunston Coal Staithes (County Durham). The fire-damaged section can be clearly seen.
The waders on the tidal flats on the Northumbrian side included a number of Lapwing and Redshank. |
