Summary

[edit]
Description The scene seconds after the demolition of the Dunlopillo chimney at Pannal, North Yorkshire, England. The bolts at the base of the structure were blown, then immediately the crane pushed the chimney away from the railway track. You can just see the chimney, a grey tube now lying horizontally below the crane. Unfortunately the viewers on the railway platform on the right missed the event because the train pulled in and the chimney fell almost at the same time. There was no explosive sound, but the chimney fell with a loud bang.
