Description

The Dunedin Law Courts building was completed in 1902. The building was designed by Government Architect John Campbell. The building is in a Gothic Revival style. The building is constructed of Port Chalmers breccia with Oamaru stone window framing, parapets and pinnacles. The building has an Italian marble statue of Justice over the Stuart Street entrance. The building continues to serve the Courts.

The building is listed as a Category I on the New Zealand Heritage Trust Register.
