Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Dune slack, Hagston Links This large wet area in the dunes was probably caused by wind erosion; a blow-out of sand taking the surface below the water table. Some of the other wet areas in these dunes are the result of an anti-tank ditch cut behind the dunes for British anti-invasion preparations in World War II. Both provide good wetland habitats for flora and fauna Druridge_Bay
