Nederlands: De onderzeeboot II. - Een interessant schouwspel bood aan de Werf "de Schelde" te Vlissingen de tewaterlating van dezen bijzonderen oorlogsbodem, waarvan wij de volgende details geven: Lengte 32,35 M., breedte 3,05 M., snelheid boven water 11½ mijl met Diesel-motor, snelheid onder water 8½ mijl met eletro-motor; aflegbare afstand 600 mijl boven, of 40 mijl onder water; lanceer vermogen 4 White head torpedo's van 45 c.M. Middellijn - Men denke niet aan sombere oorlogswolken, nu deze onderzeeer juist te Vlissingen van stapel liep.
English: The submarine II. - An interesting spectacle from the wharf "de Schelde" Vlissingen. It is a launch of a special warship, of which we release the following details: Length 32,35 m, width 3,5 m. Speed above water 11½ mile with diesel engine, speed under water 8½ mile with electric engine. Range 600 mile above water or 40 mile below water. Launch power 4 White hear torpedo's of 45 c.M.
