Title
Duchesse d'Angoulême and the Hospital at Toulouse
Description
English: The Duchess wears a simple dress of blue and white striped material with minimum jewelry in this post-1815 Roques portrait. Her hair is always shown with a gap in mid-forehead and this portrait is no exception. Feathers dyed to match the stripes are the sole element of royal splendor in this portrait.
