Description
English: A Iron Age silver unit of the Western (Dobunni) group dating to c. 50-20 BC. Obverse shows an Abstract head facing right with prominent outlien of the nose and protruding lips, ring and dot eye, saltire below, pelets and curved lines to right of face. Reverse shows an Abstract horse facing left with pellets below and possibly flower above, ie pellet with radiating lines
