Summary
[edit]DescriptionDuane Balch and his Telescope (17214766434).jpg | Corps project manager Duane Balch brought his 16-inch reflecting custom telescope to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District's third district campout May 15-17, 2015 at New Hogan Lake in Valley Springs, California. The event was a chance to get together outside of work and enjoy one of the 10 great parks the district manages in California, as well as to learn from our park rangers and natural resource experts about the wildlife of the region. Activities included local park ranger presentations, giant telescope gazing, fishing, geo-tagging data points, and all kinds of campsite games.
