Français : Le tympan, en demi-cercle, voit en son centre un grand médaillon avec les initiales "AM" (Ave Maria", avec une petite frise de perles et pirouettes contre la bordure intérieur du cadre. Le médaillon est entouré d'un godron, qui passe au-dessus et de rameaux de palmes. Au-dessus du médaillon nous y trouvons une agrafe en double-étrier.
Le dessous de l'arche est formé par un long caisson aux bordures ornées de frises de roses autres fleurs. Ces deux frises finissent par s'entrelacer au centre pour encadrer un médaillon. Entre chaque fleurs vues de face, on voit deux fleurs bourgeonner vu de profil. Le médaillon central est orné de l'initial IHS, surmonté de la Couronne d'épine. Le médaillon est gardé par deux anges, celui du dessus sourit. L'ensemble est en pierre de Caen, d'un sculpteur inconnu, restauré vers les années 1829-30 par Pierre-Guillaume Allemand. Cette partie ne fut pas endommagée pendant la seconde Guerre Mondiale. |
