English: Drypool Bridge, Kingston upon Hull. Drypool Bridge has been given a makeover, representative of the Venn diagram, used in the fields of set theory, probability, logic, statistics, and computer science. The Venn diagram was introduced by John Venn, 1834-1923, mathematician and philosopher, born Kingston upon Hull, the son of the rector of the parish of Drypool. Venn is commemorated at the University of Hull by the Venn building, constructed in 1928.
