Summary
[edit]DescriptionDrydock No.2, South Dock - geograph.org.uk - 397251.jpg |
English: Drydock No.2, South Dock, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This drydock was taken out of use in 2001 and is left in a flooded state pending some redevelopment of the area. It has a culvert leading into the Dutch River for the purpose of draining most of the water out of the drydock as the tide fell in the river. The low floodwall along the side of the river can just be seen, the green bank is on the far side of the river. |
