Summary
[edit]DescriptionDrovers' road climbing from Cwm Doethie, Ceredigion - geograph.org.uk - 1215430.jpg |
English: Drovers' road climbing from Cwm Doethie, Ceredigion Using telephoto assistance from the lower slopes of Gouallt. Nant y Rhiw descends on the left by the lowest tree. The late winter colours contrast with the recent rich greens of the wet summers. The orangy brown patches are remains of last year's bracken foliage. The trees growing in the occasional deeper soil areas are hawthorns.
The road often badly damaged by convoys of "off-roaders" in their 4WDs, is an old route from Llanddewi-Brefi to Soar y Mynydd, and on to Abergwesyn. |
