Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Vignet fra slutningen af kapitel 12. Hønsedrengen Palle har fortalt gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen og hans gønger, hvordan de svenske soldater har fanget Ib Abelsøn på Gjorslev Slot. Svend Poulsen beordrer, at de skal befri ham, og alle de vrede gønger er parate til at slås.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Endpiece of chapter 12. The chicken boy Palle has told Svend Poulsen, gøngehøvdingen, how the Swedish soldiers has captured Ib Abelsøn at the Gjorslev Castle. Svend Poulsen orders that they should free him and all the angry gønger are ready to fight.
