Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Ib Abelsøn er kommet ned fra tårnet på Gjorslev Slot, hvor han havde skjult sig for de svenske soldater, efter at den onde Kulsoen har opdaget ham og fået ham ned ved at få de svenske soldater til at torturere hans kæreste Inger. Men Kulsoen har også bemærket, at en af hans kammerater slap væk med et kiste med herskabets skatte. Nu er Ib Abelsøn så taget hen efter den, mens Inger er tilbage på slottet som gidsel. Imens går den tyske kaptajn Esner i svensk tjeneste hen til Kulsoen, for at give hende den lovede belønning til den, der opdagede Ib Abelsøn og fik ham fanget.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Ib Abelsøn has come down from the tower at the Gjorslev Castle where he has been hiding from the Swedish soldiers after the evil Kulsoen has catch sight of him og got him down by getting the Swedish soldiers to torture his girlfriend Inger. But Kulsoen also noticed that one of his comrades got away with a bot with the treasures of the noble people at the castle. Now Ib Abelsøn has been going to hole it while Inger is back at the castle as a hostage. Meanwhile the German captain Esner in Swedish service goes to Kulsoen and pays her the promised reward to the one who caught sight of Ib Abelsøn og got him taken.
