Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Gøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsen og Ib Abelsøn har været på Søholm Slot for at hente adelskvinden Elsebeth Buchwalds skjulte skatte. De har udgivet sig for at være den døde kapellan Tanges far og bror, så de kunne komme ind. Den onde Kulsoen udgav sig for at være Tanges mor for at få del i skattene. Men Ib Abelsøn fangede hende og efterlod hende bastet og bundet til en stol, da de tog afsted. Da de svenske soldater på slottet skal afsted næste morgen finder de Kulsoen til deres overraskelse. Hun har væltet stolen men uden at komme fri.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. Svend Poulsen, Gøngehøvdingen, and Ib Abelsøn has been at the Søholm Castle to hole the hidden treasures of the noblewoman Elsebeth Buchwald. They pretended to be the father and the brother of the dead curate Tange to get in. The evil Kulsoen pretended to be the mother of Tange in order to get a part of the treasures. But Ib Abelsøn captured her and left her gagged and bounded to a chair when they took their leave. When the Swedish soldiers at the castle are about to leave the next morning they finds Kulsoen to their surprise. She has knocked off the chair without coming loose.
